Who owns Spring Green?

Stockton Wells owns Spring Green, a locally owned franchise of the national SpringGreen lawn care company, based in Irmo, South Carolina.

How much does lawn care cost with Spring Green?

The 14-Day Lawn Reset is a flat $250 for a lawn up to 16,000 square feet, and ongoing treatment after that runs about $90 a month. Call or text (803) 407-7000 with your address for your exact price.

What is the 14-Day Lawn Reset guarantee?

If your lawn doesn't look visibly better in 14 days, we redo the Reset free. If weeds aren't under control by day 45, we treat free every three weeks until they are. The guarantee is in writing. More on the Reset.

Do you mow lawns?

No. We treat lawns, trees and shrubs. We don't mow, and we don't install sod, plants, irrigation or drainage.

Which towns do you serve?

We serve Irmo, Chapin, Lexington, Prosperity, Gilbert, West Columbia, Harbison and Cayce, plus one slice of Columbia, ZIP 29210 (St. Andrews and Seven Oaks). All of it is west of the Broad and Congaree rivers, and 29210 is the only Columbia ZIP we serve. The service area page lists ZIP codes and neighborhoods.

Which grass types do you treat?

We treat warm-season lawns: zoysia, bermuda, centipede and St. Augustine. How we care for each one.

Do you overseed with ryegrass in the fall?

No. Clemson Extension doesn't recommend overseeding home lawns, and says ryegrass can severely retard or damage centipede, zoysia and St. Augustine the following spring.

Do you aerate lawns?

We offer liquid aeration, applied in May and June. We don't do core aeration, and we don't aerate in the fall. Clemson recommends aerating warm-season lawns in late spring and summer, while the grass is actively growing.

Do you test the soil?

Yes. We pull a soil sample on the first visit and build the program around what your lawn is short on.
